Summary of 1.1.3 Jailbreaks & Hacks

This time around there are just too many jailbraking methods. Official, un-Official, based on official.....etc I want to summarize everything so you get an idea of what's going on. Remember I only recommend the official jailbreaking methods by the Dev Team. Other method are available and might work better for you. You decide. If you are having trouble unlocking, jailbreaking or have a glitch or software malfunction with your device, I provide a service to help you. AT&T and Apple do not consider hacked devices under their warranty. Read the Following:

Official Jailbreak-Dev Team-Red (recommended)-Orange (not recommended):
  • Method # 1- Official Jailbreak for WindowsXp/Vista- Computer Needed.(OLD)
  • Method # 1- Official Jailbreak for Intel & PPC Mac- Computer Needed.(OLD)

  • Method # 2- Official Jailbreak for Mac & Windows- No Computer Needed.(NEW)

  • Need: 3.9 Bootloader, 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch

Un-Official Jailbreak- Nate True Method- Red (recommended)-Orange (not recommended):

  • Method # 1- Un-Official Jailbreak for WindowsXp/Vista- Computer Needed.(OLD)

  • Method # 1- Un-Official Jailbreak for Intel & PPC Mac- Computer Needed.(OLD)

  • Need: 3.9 Bootloader, 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch

Copy of Other Jailbreaks- Arix Method- Red (recommended)-Orange (not recommended):

  • Method # 1- Un-Official Jailbreak for Mac & Windows- Computer Needed.(OLD)

  • Need: 3.9 Bootloader, 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 Jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch

Arix Method: Contains 2 ways of jailbreaking. First method: If you have a 1.1.1 jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch, iJailbreak automatically updates your device to 1.1.3. This is Based on Nate True's Method. Second method: If you have a 1.1.2 jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch, iJailbreak automatically updates your device to 1.1.3. This is Based on Dev Team's Method 1. Both are very unstable and are not recommended. Use at your own risk.(3.9 bootloader only)

Nate True Method: Is based on Dev Team's Method. First method: If you have a 1.1.1 jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch, iBrickr automatically updates your device to 1.1.3. Second method: If you have a 1.1.2 jailbroken iPhone/iPod Touch, iBrickr automatically updates your device to 1.1.3. This method is very unstable and is not recommended. Use at your own risk.(3.9 bootloader only)

Dev Team Method: This is original! Every other method is an imitation of this. This is a recommended method. This method updates your device to 1.1.3 Firmware but keeps the 1.1.2 baseband due to a lack of an unlocking method! You need to have a jailbroken 1.1.2 iPhone or iTouch.(3.9 bootloader only).
