Sling Media will be showing a version of SlingPlayer for iPhone near the Moscone Center this week, according to a MacWorld report.
Sling Media is developing both an unofficial and official version of the SlingPlayer for testing purposes; however, they say only the official version will be made available to the public through AppStore.
Three of its developers will attend WWDC this week and they hope to use any development tools released at the conference to bring the player closer to release.
The company expects the software to work well over Wi-Fi connections and and acceptably well over a 3G data network.
