Hackint0sh moderator N41 and Geohot (The first one to unlock the iPhone) have completed a hardware unlock of firmware version 1.1.3. This is not Confirmed Yet. The process involved upgrading to 1.1.3 in order to get the new baseband, then downloaded to firmware version 1.1.2 so they could jailbreak the phone. The phone is than running 1.1.2 though with the updated baseband (4.03.13).Since it is a hardware unlock one must physically open their phone, though is a step in the right direction. Again, nothing has been confirmed and we will update when more information comes in.
