French wireless carrier Orange has released sales information pointing toward 30,000 iPhones sold within five days of the handset's release in France. The company said that 20% of the iPhone's customers opted for an unlocked unit, which sold for 749 euros without a contract as opposed to 399 euros for an iPhone with a two-year contract with Orange.Orange also stated that 48% of people buying the phones were new customers for the network.
