In an attempt to better keep up with all of Apple's blocking efforts, the iPhone Dev Team is considering drawing resources from the community by open-sourcing AnySim, the free app used to unlock the iPhone. iPhone Dev member Sam said that the move could "open a lot of possibilities for the future," such as avoiding some dangerous binary patches that first created the problems with iPhone bricking.
