Apple officially released the new 2.0 software for the iPod touch on Saturday, but for those who aren't willing to pay the $9.95 to upgrade, Apple hasn't forgotten about you. They recently released version 1.1.5 for those still running the old software. Still, if you change your mind, you'll get access to MobileMe, Exchange, the App Store, and more. They've even already begun testing on 2.0.1
