The guys from R.I.P Dev have taken it upon themselves to update Installer.app according to iPhones.ru and will soon release a new version which features the ability to search for packages.
Currently we are using Installer.app v3.01. Below you will find pre release screenshots of Installer v3.10. Most notably you will notice the ability to search packages.
Among other updates is faster load times, improved package sorting, and buffered downloads.
