Airfoil 3.2 Improves 802.11n Support

An update for Airfoil for Mac is now available. It has several minor fixes as well as a couple great new features. Most importantly, this update improves support for the new 802.11n AirPort Express, including full password support and better synchronization.

As well, Airfoil now supports remote control of iTunes or QuickTime Player when they’re being transmitted via Airfoil. Using the Apple TV Remote through an Apple TV, or the Keyspan Express Remote through an AirPort Express, you can send basic controls for play or pause iTunes or QuickTime Player, as well as moving back and forward in tracks in iTunes. This makes it even easier to use Airfoil to control all your audio!

Owners of Airfoil for Mac can download this free update immediately, and it’s recommended for all Airfoil 3 users. For everyone who hasn’t yet seen our tool for sending audio around your house, to AirPort Express units, Apple TVs, and other Macs, PCs, and Linux machines, check out Airfoil now, with our free trial versions!
