Native iPhone Blogging Tools For WordPress, TypePad In Development

The iPhone will be getting a native application for posting to WordPress blogs on the go. WordPress boss Matt Mullenwag stated vaguely in a keynote at WordPress Camp in Dallas this March that there was a mobile device that would have WordPress "built-in", and that "you can probably guess which one that is." Six Apart has also announced that they are developing native iPhone tools for TypePad.

“Six Apart pioneered the mobile blogging experience with an iPhone-optimized blog service,” said Chris Alden, CEO, Six Apart. “We’re taking it to the next level with our native iPhone application for TypePad that’s already in development.”
