Yahoo Messenger Beta for Mac Adds Voice!


Yahoo has released its Beta 3 of Yahoo Messenger for Mac and it features Voice calling!

With this new version, you can make free PC-to-PC calls or sign up for a Phone Out account to make calls from your Mac to regular or mobile phones worldwide for as low as 1¢ a minute (see rates). And if you want friends to be able to call you on your Mac from any phone, sign up for a Phone In account and choose a number.

Yahoo! Messenger 3.0 Beta 3 Additions:

- Free voice conversations with other Messenger users on both Mac and Windows.

- Cheap PC-to-phone calls: make calls from Messenger to landline and mobile phones at low rates with Yahoo! Phone Out.

- Receive phone calls: get a phone number for your Messenger and start taking phone calls on your computer with Yahoo! Phone In. Plus, choose your area code!

- Forward calls and voice conversations to another phone number.

- Get voicemail by email.

- Numerous improvements to stability and user experience.
