The Swirly iPhone MMS : Works on Hacked and Unlocked iPhone / iTouch

Swirly MMS is a picture text messaging application that was released not too long ago. When it first came out, you were only able to send messages but not receive them. The creators of swirly mms have fixed the app and say you can now send and receive messages.In order for the app to work correctly, you'll need to make sure that you have your settings configured correctly for your region and carrier. You can get instructions on how to do that below.

Also, it hasn't been mentioned, but I think you might need to add MMS to your iPhone plan for this to work correctly.

You can find SwirlyMMS in the Installer.app under the "network" catigory.

After you download the app from installer you need to go to settings in the app and according to your carrier put in the following settings:
