While an official implementation of Copy & Paste is yet to be seen on the iPhone, Preston Monroe has come up with a fairly useful workaround to this conundrum. Using a bookmarklet approach, iCopy can copy text from a web page into a cookie which can then be pasted into another web page or even into a new email. It works pretty well for the most part, but it's not perfect. Obviously the trick only works in Safari and its integrated Mail app, but at least it's a start. Videos of iCopy in action after the jump.It still needs a lot of work, but it is definitely a good start. Now someone needs to figure out how to do something like this and let us install it with installer app so it can run smoother and not take as long.
