With no fanfare or announcements of any kind, Apple has seeded the long-awaited firmware version 2.0 beta to developers. However, upon inspection, it appears that the only major difference is the official 2.0 version number. There have been some modifications to the Cisco VPN settings, and the the ActiveSync settings got moved around a little, but not much else is different. You can check out a screenshot gallery of firmware 2.0 beta here.
