At Macworld 2008, Creative Labs previewed a speaker dock system which should, provided Apple approves it, be completely compatible with the iPhone as well as other dock-equipped iPod devices. While still not officially compatible, the dock is completely shielded for iPhone use without the need to enable airplane mode. Additionally the dock features a remote which will allow the user to navigate through the iPod mode of both iPhones and the iPod touch. Name and price of the device are not known at this time although it should be officially announced for availability sometime in Q2 of this year. We’ll be keeping our eyes open for its announcement.
