Over on the shareware end of things, Alloysoft has just released version 1.0.4 of Signal, its iPhone and iPod touch remote control program via a web browser utility. The application, a 4.4 megabyte download, allows users to use an iPhone of iPod touch as a remote control for iTunes on the Mac. Supported features include music navigation, playlist editing, volume adjustment and song rating among others.Signal 1.0.4 requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later to run and retails for US$24.95 to gain the full feature set.
